Compression spiral, a combination of a down-cut flute and up-cut flute to maximize edge quality from the top and bottom of material.
A Mortise Compression Router Bit has a much reduced up shear portion for thinner materials; typically one third of a standard compression up shear solid carbide router bit.
Use on double side laminates (melamine, HPL, vinyl, painted board), solid wood and veneers.
This bit has high wear and is our Ultimate series bit used exclusively in high wear materials such as High Pressure Laminates (HPL).
